No. 1 Central Valley romps over North Central

Lexie Hull led Central Valley with 25 points and the Bears (18-0, 12-0) beat North Central (10-9, 5-5) 75-15 in Greater Spokane League play on Friday.

Lacie Hull finished with eight points and registered her 1,000th career point in the win for CV, rated No. 1 in WIAA’s RPI system. 

Central Valley turns up defense in second half to rout Mt. Spokane

Central Valley faced some resistance from a league opponent on Tuesday night. Then it pushed back.

The Bears led visiting Mt. Spokane by single digits at halftime but then turned up the intensity, limiting the Wildcats to seven second-half points to remain undefeated with a 73-32 win.

CV (17-0, 11-0), rated No. 1 in Class 4A in WIAA’s RPI system, has outscored its league opponents by 42.8 points this season.

But Central Valley’s defense applied pressure in the second half and limited the Wildcats to four points in the third and three in the fourth.

Lexie Hull led CV with 21 points.
