Central Valley’s Lexie Hull, honored by AP

Central Valley star Lexie Hull has been voted the Associated Press Washington state high school basketball all-classification girls player of the year for 2018.

She was honored after voting by sports writers and editors from around the state. The results of the voting were announced on Tuesday.

Hull, a senior who was named Gatorade state player of the year named Gatorade state player for the second consecutive season earlier, averaged 20.4 points and 8.4 rebounds and led Central Valley to the Class 4A state title. Hull was the Greater Spokane League MVP and is headed to Stanford with her sister Lacie Hull, who was voted to the girls 4A first-team. The Twins shared co-players of the year honors by the Seattle Times and Lexie was the Tacoma News Tribune’s POY.
